Hello,

I'm Alison O'Mahony.

Presently, working full-time for University College Cork, taking on the role of Executive Assistant to the Office of Accommodation, Community, and Student Life. As part of this role, I am responsible for the administrative responsibilities of the Accommodation and Community Life Office based on UCC's campus. This ranges from student support, both in person and virtually, via phone or email, administrative support in meetings, payroll support, as well as managing the Universities Student Pad Accommodation site.

Deputy President and the Education Officer of UCC's Students' Union for the 2023/2024 academic year.

I graduated from University College Cork in 2023 with a first-class honors BA degree in Geography and Art History.

I was honored to receive the Student of the Year award from the UCC Art History Department during the 2023 academic year

I possess a comprehensive understanding of diverse subjects, spanning from Biogeography to the intricacies of Renaissance Portraiture, as well as the complex socio-geographical constructs of Place and Identity. My academic journey has also delved into the realms of Modernism, Postmodernism, Histography, and contemporary methodologies within the field of Art History. This breadth of knowledge allows me to approach artistic inquiry with a multifaceted perspective, drawing connections between historical contexts, artistic movements, and contemporary methodologies.
