My Story

  • Successfully elected as UCCSU Education Officer and Deputy President with one of the highest voter turnouts ever recorded by UCCSU.

  • Represented over 25,000 students in their academic affairs, and support needs.

​

  • Honed key communication, presenting and networking skills through featured speaking slots on several panels including a National Academic Integrity HEA Panel, as well as International Womens Day panel.

  • Engaged daily with the Union of Students in Ireland, collaborating on national student movements and policies.

  • Management of election, training, and motivation, of over 700 voluntary class representatives, including the organisation of large-scale training events, both in person, and online.

  • Responsible for the organisation of many bespoke events including focus groups, coffee mornings, award displays, and townhalls.

  • Worked within a 19-person executive- has gained excellent insight into the diversity of teamwork and dealing with high pressure scenarios.

  • Also dealt with high pressure casework via emails and phone calls day to day- proving excellent independent work ethic and dedication as well as a proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
