My Story

Successfully elected as UCCSU Education Officer and Deputy President with one of the highest voter turnouts ever recorded by UCCSU.

Represented over 25,000 students in their academic affairs, and support needs.

Honed key communication, presenting and networking skills through featured speaking slots on several panels including a National Academic Integrity HEA Panel, as well as International Womens Day panel.

Engaged daily with the Union of Students in Ireland, collaborating on national student movements and policies.

Management of election, training, and motivation, of over 700 voluntary class representatives, including the organisation of large-scale training events, both in person, and online.

Responsible for the organisation of many bespoke events including focus groups, coffee mornings, award displays, and townhalls.

Worked within a 19-person executive- has gained excellent insight into the diversity of teamwork and dealing with high pressure scenarios.

Also dealt with high pressure casework via emails and phone calls day to day- proving excellent independent work ethic and dedication as well as a proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
